The Glenlivet was founded in 1824 and is one of Scotland’s most historic distilleries. Today, Chivas Brothers, part of the Pernod Ricard group, owns the brand, and Glenlivet remains one of the best-selling single malts worldwide.
After a brief period when it was replaced in some markets by Founder’s Reserve, the Glenlivet 12 year old made a welcome return and continues to be a favourite among whisky enthusiasts.
The whisky is matured in a combination of American and traditional oak casks, which help create its signature smooth, fruity profile.
